Michelle “Missy” Apodaca

Missy is a Texas-based government relations professional with expertise in a wide range of issues affecting the health care industry. During more than 25 years in law and politics, she has developed a sophisticated knowledge of the legislative, appropriations, regulatory and administrative processes that govern much of health policy development. Missy previously served as vice president of advocacy, legal and public policy for the 450-member Texas Hospital Association and has been a legislative aide in both the Texas Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.
