First Focus on Children and others in the children’s community gathered on June 9th, 2025 for a Children’s Week Welcome Reception. This event served as a great opportunity to make new connections and reconnect with long-time partners — bring together all Champions for Children — whether you’re a member of Congress, congressional staffer, advocate, parent, or provider — because this work takes all of us. The event was an evening to celebrate kids and uplift the ways we can work together to make progress. The event also featured special Remarks from Representatives Morgan McGarvey, Johnny Olszewski, and Alma Adams.
